The Vineyards

A journey into the Igler Estate’s 25 hectares of vineyards is extremely worthwhile. Just the pruning alone gives immediate testament to vitcultural quality. Shoots are trimmed by hand and the canopy is trained high and kept well-aerated until physiological ripeness of the grapes is achieved. Sustainable viticulture is a prime focus in these vineyards.

Another fascinating aspect is the spectacular views of the historic Kreuzstadel, the renaissance castle of Deutschkreutz, and the neighboring Lake Neusiedl.
