The path of our aspiration: ideal soils and clone selection, uncompromising canopy management and yield restrictions, gentle harvesting by manual selection with small crates, cold maceration and temperature-controlled fermentation, gentle crush, malolactic fermentation, and maturation in small oak barrels.
Wine culture includes not only what is in the bottle, but also what is on it. Hans Igler was again the first to recognize this in Austria and together with the famous national painter, Professor Anton Lehmden, he created Austria’s first artistically designed wine labels.
